Advanced Cheerleading; Tips & Techniques : Dismounts in Cheerleading

On behalf of my name is
Hung. I am the coach for the coach for the Cheer Odyssey Rockets Team, and we are going
to be going over some different dismounts for advanced cheerleading. Okay go to a prep
for me; ladies this is going to be a regular cradle position. Here we go regular cradle
5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 up1,2. Allie is up in the air, she is going to hit her high V
cradling on 1,2 basic cradle pop her as high as you can. 5,6,7,8,1,2 Pop 3,4,5,6,7,8 out1.
Good turn to the side. The next cradle you can possible do is a full twist cradle or
full twist down. Here we go ladies! Full twist cradle from prep. 5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
out1. Face diagonal more this way. Here we go toe touch.

  1. I am also a cheerleader we are a middle school cheer team we do all of those stunts and I personally do not think a front spot is needed! In fact I think it looks better without one because they kinda block the stunt but thats just me. When I first flew I did have a front spot but that girl looks very experianced. Everyone has their oppinions, that is just mine(:

  2. @booglybog i agree, unfortunatly we don't have enough people on our squad to have front spots 🙁 haha. its is very possible though to do it without them 😛
