Hey guys! Today, I’m here at Tom Brown Park. Ernie Sims is hosting a football and cheerleading camp, and I wouldn’t miss it
for the world! Let’s go check it out! Do you mind if I interview you? Yes, ma’am. So, Number 34, before you went pro, I heard you were a Parks and Rec kid.
So can you tell me about that? Yes, so, growing up… I grew up on North Ridge Road. I went to Pineview Elementary, and in that community is Jake Gaither Community.
So I grew up at that park’s center, and that’s where – when I play for
youth football – I wore number 34. So all these kids out here – they’re hot, but they’re having so much fun. So why do you do this? Why do I do it? It’s a good question. So the reason I do it – number one – is to get all the kids out of the house so so they’re not
sitting on their behind and doing nothing playing video games. That’s the rule number one. Number two is it’s just instruction, all right? Learning principles in life, of how to be a successful person, all right, so we’re
gonna teach you how to be disciplined, we’re gonna teach you how to use
teamwork, we’ll teach you about respect, all right, and we’re gonna teach you how to compete. So that’s really what it’s gonna come down to, and at the end of the day, we’re gonna have fun doing it. Well, awesome. Thank you so much for letting me interview you. I had so much fun at the Ernie Sims
Football and Cheerleading camp, and if you want to find out more about these
events, go to Talgov.com, and as you know we’re all about it! See you next time! Bye!
