All-Star Cheerleading Routine : All-Star Cheerleading Routine: Land Toe Touch

I’ve hit my jump. One, nod, two, circle, three,
hit four, on five, six I’m going to land. Now when I land I’m going to bend my knees
ever so slightly to absorb that impact and not land with straight legs, because I could
really hurt my knees that way. I’m going to land on five, six. When I land I’m going to
have my head down. My knees are over my toes. My hands are in blades. From the side it looks
like this. Now, I didn’t absorb my jump all the way down to the ground because a. that’s
dangerous for my joints, but b. it’s very sloppy looking to your crowd. There’s a big
difference in landing your jump like this and landing your jump like this. Be careful
not to absorb too much impact. You want to hold some sort of resistance to keep yourself
nice and straight and to keep your joints healthy. Again, I’ve hit two, circle, three,
jump, four, land, five, six.
