Beauty and The Beast: Belle’s Makeover Part 1- Hair Repair

Belle gets her hair repaired She goes from having crazy hair to gorgeous hair! [Music: Rosie’s Tea Party theme song] Belle’s makeover part1 hair repair Ariel had her makeover first Look how amazing she turned out! If you want to see that video click on the icard or the link in the video description Now it’s Belle’s turn She has the same waxy sticky gooey hair as Ariel Look at this tangled mess! The sticky goo makes it worse Ugh! I better get started I’ll be using Goo Gone I get a lot of questions about this product This is the only thing I’ve tried that will get out the sticky goo Shampoo and soap won’t do it I got this at the hardware store Spray it all over the hair Saturate the hair with this stuff [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] Rub it in good and leave it on for 30 minutes Now to comb out the tangles This hair is really bad So many knots If your doll’s hair is not sticky you don’t need to use Goo Gone You can just use hair conditioner or liquid soap of fabric softener [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] Now to wash out the Goo Gone Washing a doll’s hair is done just like in my other hair repair videos I use dish soap because it does a better job than shampoo for removing Goo Gone Belle’s hair was washed twice It’s nice and clean now I don’t need this choker so I’ll just cut it off Let her hair dry overnight Well look at this beautiful hair! Wow! I’m always amazed every time I do this I’ll be styling Belle’s hair first then curling it I found doing it in this order was easier Her hair needs to be sectioned off so you will need a lot of little hair clips like these Separate 2 sections at the top front Like this Use clips to hold the hair Next take some hair from the top and the sides Right above the ear, separate a small section of hair Like this Hold this section with a clip Do the same for the other side [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] The next section of hair is for the bun You’ll need this much hair And hold it with a clip This is what it should look like This top section for the bun These 2 top front sections These 2 small sections above the ear And these 2 side sections I’m going to do the bun first You will need a chenille stem about 5 and a half inches long Brown to match her hair Fold it in half like this This is the open end and this is the loop end Comb the hair straight up Get the chenille stem and put the hair in between Like this Spread the hair along the chenille stem Squeeze the chenille stem like you’re clamping down on the hair Tuck the ends of the hair into the roll and roll it all the way down [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] This is the back view Take the ends of the chenille stem and bring them together like closing a circle Put one of the open ends through the loop end [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] And twist it together with the other open end Squeeze it into the shape and position you want The chenille stem will hold it there For the side section Comb it smooth and pull it to the back and clip it in the middle Do the same for the other side [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] Now for the 2 front sections Comb it smooth and twist Place it loosely against her head at the ear Pick up the hair above the ear and wrap it around the twisted hair Twist it together and bring it to the back The hair over the ear is going to hold that twist in place Do the same for the other side [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] I put a clip on each side for extra security so I can work of the hair All these hair sections, below the bun, will be held together with an elastic [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] Get it as close to the bun as possible So now I have a top layer and a bottom layer that i’m going to curl I divided the hair evenly 8 sections on the top and 8 sections on the bottom I need the top layer out of the way while I work on the bottom layer This big clip holds it up nicely Wrap the hair around a piece of straw like this [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] Hold it with a bobby pin in the bottom and another one in the top Got that? Okay! Let’s go! Full speed ahead! [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] All done! Now for the hot water dunk This water is almost at boiling point Get all the curlers under Hold it there for 3 minutes Next is the ice water dunk Keep the curlers under for 2 minutes This will set the curls Out she goes and prop her up Her bun stayed put Awesome! The twisted sections didn’t move either Great! Let her hair air dry over night All dry! Time to take out the curlers [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] The curls are a little too tight for my liking Pulling on them will loosen them [Music: Sunbeam Waltz] That’s better Not going to take out these clips yet I’m going to tie a ribbon around her bun first I think this colour matches the dress I’ll be making for her We’ll see I can always change it later if I need to Now I can take out the side clips Wow! Doesn’t she look amazing? Her lips need to be repainted These are the paints i’m using I’ll post the info in the video description And this is the size of the brush It’s very very thin I’ll mix a colour to match the original colour of her lips This is pretty close But I’m going to add more red And here she is! She’s stunning! Wow! So beautiful! Now that Belle’s hair is done Who do you think will have the best makeover? Ariel? Or Belle?
