DIY Dutch Accent Ponytail | Cute Girls Hairstyles

[MUSIC PLAYING] -Hey, guys. It’s Bailey from “Cute
Girls Hairstyles,” and today, I’m going
to be showing you how to do the Dutch
accent ponytail. So I actually posted a picture
of me in an OOTD the other day, and I just had my hair pulled up
from me cheer pep rally that we had that day, but y’all
really liked my hair, and you asked a ton of
questions about how I did it. So I’m here to show you today
how to do that hairstyle. For this hairstyle, there
are two ways to do it. One way– you can
start your braid in the middle of your
head with a chunk of hair, and the braid will go more
downwards, into the ponytail. Or you can also
do it so the braid is more diagonal into the
ponytail, starting with a chunk up here. So that’s the one that
I’m going to do today because that’s the one I
had in the OOTD picture that y’all really liked. So to start off, I’m
going to take a bigger chunk from the top
corner of my part, and I’m just going to
start a Dutch braid, which is really basic. You just split your hair
into three different parts and then braid
basically backwards. That way, the braid will
pop out a little bit. So we’ll go ahead and
do this Dutch braid. OK, so now I’m going
to finish braiding it all the way down to
the end, and then I’m going to rubber band it. OK, so now that I’ve
finished my Dutch braid, I’m going to go ahead and
pull the rest of my hair into a ponytail and
then add the braid in. OK, so once the
braid is all in, you can see it’s kind of slicked
back a little bit, so I’m going to go ahead
and pancake the braid and then find
little wispy pieces. Because I have
layers, I can do that. That’ll go on the side. But if you don’t,
you can just fluff it or curl it or something to give
it a little bit more texture, but that’s the way
I’m going to do it. And there you have the
Dutch accent ponytail. Now I’m going to do the
final spin so y’all can see the hairstyle. There we have the hairstyle. Also, leave a comment
below if you guys are following Cute Girls
Hairstyles on Twitter. And if you’re not, the link
is in the description box below if you want to
follow us on Twitter. Thank you guys so much
for watching this video. Give it a thumbs up if you
like the DIY hairstyles, and I’ll see y’all next week. Bye! -I’m using [INAUDIBLE]
rubber band in hair from the ponytail
underneath and the top, and I’m going to
begin a fishtail. And I’m going to do
an outie fishtail. -OK. I totally can’t see you. Your shirt totally blends
into the background. -But– -It’s camo. I can’t see you. -It’s a blue wall. -Just because it’s camo doesn’t
mean I’m going to disappear. And it’s got trees on it, Dad. -You totally look
just a floating head. -If there were trees back
there, I would believe you, but there aren’t any trees back
there, so– it looks the sky. If I were wearing
blue, I’d blend in, but I’m not really wearing blue. I’m wearing trees, and leaves,
and rocks, and brown, and mud
