Live Doppler Forecast For December 8th

YOU CAN’T ESCAPE IT. INTERESTING TO SEE THE ADS.>>>I KNOW YOU HAD A ROUND OF GOLF TODAY?>>QUITE PLEASANT. A LITTLE BIT SUNNY. THAT HELPED A LITTLE BIT. AND THE CLOUD COVER MOVED IN. BUT THE SOUTHERLY BREEZES HELPED WARM UP THE TEMPERATURES. IT WAS NOT TOO BAD OF A DAY.>>FOR DECEMBER.>>OF COURSE, FOR DECEMBER. AND I SAW NEIGHBORS PUTTING UP CRIME LIGHTS TODAY.>>THEY FINAL — CHRISTMAS LIGHTS — THEY FINALLY GOT THOSE IN.>>YES. AND IT’S DRY CURRENTLY. AND AT MORSE RESERVOIR, IT’S QUIET, AND A LITTLE BIT OF BREEZE IN THE FLAG. IT’S OUT OF THE SOUTH. CONTINUING TO PUSH IN. WE HAVE THE SYSTEM THAT IS NOW MAKING ITS WAY INTO THE PLAINS STATES. IT’LL GRADUALLY LIFT TO THE NORTHEAST. AND IT TAPS INTO A LOT OF MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO. WE HAVE THE CLOUD COVERAGE OVERHEAD RIGHT NOW. IT’S BEEN STREAMING IN SINCE ABOUT NOON TODAY. 52 IN THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE. AND 49 IN KOKOMO. 52 IN BLOOMINGTON. UNSEASONABLY MILD. WINDS OUT OF THE SOUTH FROM 5 TO 10 MILES PER HOUR. AND THEY’LL INCREASE DUE THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THIS EVENING, WE’LL SEE THE TEMPERATURES JUST HOLDING STEADY IN THE UPPER 40s. WHICH IS WHAT THEY’LL DO IN THE OVERNIGHT AS WELL. AND AS WE GET INTO THE OVERNIGHT, WE’LL BE TRACKING SOME RAIN. IT STARTS TO PUSH IN AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. AND THEN IT’LL BE WIDESPREAD AROUND 4:00 A.M., 5:00 A.M. HEAVIER POCKETS OF RAIN DURING THE MORNING DRIVE TIME AS WELL. AND CHECK BACK IN TO SEE HOW THIS WILL IMPACT. I THINK IT’LL BE MORE SCATTERED IN NATURE. WE GET ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE SYSTEM. TEMPERATURES WILL BE UNSEASONABLY MILD. CLIMBING INTO THE MID-50s TOMORROW AFTERNOON. WITH A BREEZY WIND OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST. AND GUSTY OVER 30 MILES PER HOUR. AND OVERCAST. AND SCATTERED SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. AND ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE SYSTEM, WE WILL SEE THIS PRECIPITATION START TO SHUT DOWN. THE MODELS HAVE SHUT DOWN CHANCE OF SNOW, TOO. WE’LL KEEP A LOW CHANCE. BUT MY CONFIDENCE IS VERY LOW AT THIS POINT. CERTAINLY NO ACCUMULATION WITH THAT. IT’LL BRING IN MUCH COLDER AIR. THE SECONDARY FRONT PUSHES IN, AND ALLOWS THE TEMPERATURES TO TUMBLE QUITE QUICKLY ON TUESDAY MORNING. AS FAR AS RAIN FALL TOTALS THOUGH, SOME AREAS COULD PICK UP MAYBE THREE 0.1 OF AN INCH, AND POSSIBLY 1 INCH IN SOME SPOUSES, OR 0.3 OF AN INCH. AND INDIANAPOLIS COULD SEE OVER AN INCH OF RAIN ON THIS MODEL. COLDER AIR MOVING IN BEHIND THE SYSTEM. ARCTIC AIR PLUNGING IN FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. TUESDAY’S HIGH IS 30 DEGREES. HERE’S A LOOK AT YOUR 7-DAY FORECAST. 56 YOUR HIGH FOR TOMORROW. 30 ON TUESDAY. WE DROP DOWN TO 18 ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. A HIGH OF ONLY 28 WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. WE’LL START TO GRADUALLY WARM UP A BIT ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
